Very happy to share that Celestial Court made it into the list of Top 10 Chinese restaurants in KL rated by travelers/ users of Trip Advisor.

The news was first published in the local New Straits Times

1 & 2. Din Tai Fung
Topping the list is the award-winning chain restaurant Din Tai Fung located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and The Gardens, Mid Valley City. A TripAdvisor traveller raved, "One of the best Xiao Long Baos (soup dumplings) I have tasted!"
3. Shang Palace
Inspired by Southeast China's culinary traditions, this authentic restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Jalan Sultan Ismail, is frequented for its excellent Dim Sum. A traveller said, "We strongly recommend Shang Palace to anyone who wants to taste Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist".
4. Fatty Crab Restaurant, Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya
If you do not mind getting your hands dirty for flavoursome seafood, visit Fatty Crab at Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya this festive season for a boisterous celebration. "This place essentially does one dish, but it does it superbly - crab," described a traveller.
5. Hakka Restaurant
Specialising in authentic Hakka cuisine, this restaurant at Jalan Raja Chulan is famous for its exceptional steamed cod fish in soy sauce. "This charming restaurant serves terrific Chinese food and beer, but beware of the huge portions," says a TripAdvisor traveller.
6. Lai Po Heen
Helmed by award-winning Chef Ricky Thein, visit Lai Po Heen at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jalan Pinang for a delicious interpretation of modern Cantonese cuisine set in a restaurant with an open kitchen. "The glass kitchen offers views of chefs cooking, a testament to their kitchen hygiene standards," reads the review.
7. Li Yen
Serving traditional Cantonese cuisine and popular for its innovative Dim Sum, this restaurant at The Ritz Carlton, Jalan Imbi also has traditional Chinese "Yangqing" music performed live. A TripAdvisor traveller recommended the Signature Durian Pudding, which is "out of this world! A must try, if you are a durian lover."
8. Celestial Court
Another Cantonese restaurant famed for its sumptuous Dim Sum, Celestial Court at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Jalan Sultan Ismail continues to draw guests with its ever-changing menu. "The dim sum here is of commendable quality in terms of taste and presentation... Selection is good," raved a diner.
9. Overseas Restaurant
This restaurant on Jalan Imbi is the original restaurant by the Overseas Group that was established more than 30 years ago. Overseas Restaurant is famous for its Char Siew (barbequed pork) and roast pork, with a TripAdvisor traveller describing the Char Siew as "par excellence! It is the best dish on the menu and is a must-have."
10. Restoran Sek Yuen
A family-owned old-school Cantonese restaurant in Jalan Pudu, it is still decorated very traditionally. Visitors to Restoran Sek Yuen come for its food that is still cooked on firewood stoves. As a TripAdvisor traveller put it, "Don't expect service and presentation like a modern Chinese restaurant. You are not here to eat the presentation and decoration. You are here for the wonderful food."
